Technical Data:
The computer is an AMD Athlon, 1.4Ghz, 512MB RAM, dual 40GB 7200 RPM drive running in a hot-swap RAID (mirroring). All of the computers which are mission-critical to the show (music, scoreboard, sound system, fire alarm, etc) are connected on their own network, separated from the rest of the world to prevent virus & other nasties. The sound system is made up of 23 JBL speakers, driven by 20kW of Crown amplifiers, all controlled by a Peavy MediaMatrix processing/routing system. The MediaMatrix handles most of the duties, with several automatic mixer algorithms, smart AGCs, ambient-noise-level monitoring volume controls, feedback filters, and a few other goodies.
